Come on, get arty – the deadline to send in your ideas for our new poster is 17 May!
NDCS Cymru is calling on deaf children and young people to help us design a new poster to tell teachers, school staff and pupils all about deafness – but hurry, the deadline is 17 May!
Young people who responded to our If I Could Change One Thing campaign last year told us that they wanted hearing people to understand more about being deaf. That's why we want to create a new poster to tell children and teachers how to include deaf children and young people in everything that happens in school.
Please help us by downloading the flyer below and telling us your ideas for the poster. You may want to write, draw, paint, or use a computer to create your own tips - it's up to you!
A selection of the entries will be used to create a new NDCS Cymru deaf awareness poster for schools, which will be launched during deaf awareness week this year (28 June to 4 July). The poster will be available to schools throughout Wales to pin up wherever they choose.
Prize Draw
Remember to write the name of your school on the form as NDCS Cymru is now doing a prize draw. Each of the schools will be entered into a draw, and the winning school will receive £50 in High Street Shopping Vouchers!
