When I grow up...

What do deaf children want to be when they grow up? Over the past few months, we’ve been asking deaf children to show us by drawing on special NDCS postcards.

The response has been amazing. NDCS would like to thank everyone who took the time to send in their brilliant drawings. We will use these images to show the Government that deaf children have the same range of aspirations and ambitions as all other children.

The winning entry was Daisy Hancox from Huddersfield, whose drawing of a vet, won us all over. Daisy won £100 in book vouchers for her entry.

In this gallery, you can see the winning entry and just some of the many entries received. Click to enlarge each drawing.
