Would you like to help create a world without barriers for deaf children and young people?
The National Deaf Children’s Society is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people
We are looking for a meticulously organised, hard-working and enthusiastic individual to support our policy and campaigns team. Deaf children are some of the most vulnerable and educationally disadvantaged children in the UK today, yet serious cuts to the vital public services they rely on are taking place. The successful candidate will support a busy team aiming to influence local and national decision makers to stop these cuts and improve the quality of support that deaf children receive from public services.
You'll ensure the information we provide to families about services for deaf children is accurate and up to date, and that the team have all the resources and information they need to run successful local and national campaigns.
To join our passionate and hard-working policy and campaigns team, you’ll need experience of working in an administrative role in an office environment. You’ll also have great communication skills, be a quick learner and enjoy working as part of a team. Due to the nature of our work, accurate data collection and management, as well as exceptional attention to detail are both crucial skills for this role.
We have a strong record of campaigning success - and you can help us to achieve more for deaf children and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us and support our work to safeguard and improve vital services for deaf children.
