Director: Children, Young People and Families

Malcolm Matthews has responsibility for NDCS services.

He joined NDCS early in 2009, having been Director of Community Support and Information at the deafblind charity, Sense, for over 19 years.  

In addition to his work in the UK, Malcolm made numerous presentations in many different countries and for many years was information officer, magazine editor, and committee member of Deafblind International.

He is a recognised lecturer on the Birmingham University accredited Deafblind Diploma. 
 
Malcolm has also worked as a Regional Manager for Scope and as Coordinator of Birmingham Young Volunteers.
