TOPIC: Hearing aids & gymnastics

My 8 year old son is going to be fitted with bilateral hearing aids at the end of March which he is cool about.
He does Gymnastics at a high level (15 hours per week) and I am concerned regarding the "secureness" of his aids whilst in the gym. I have been having visions of the things flying off in the foam pits!
99% of the coaches have been great with him since we found out - repeating instructions & checking he's heard them. Just the odd one who thinks that he isn't concentrating on purpose! We will be speaking to Welfare just so they are aware.
Any tips/advice of anything gymnastic related would be much appreciated
Many thanks.

Not sure that your son would think it would be cool to wear, I bought my daughter a hearing aid head band, and it has held her hearing aids in place. (she is 6).
