TOPIC: Audiology appointment for hearing aids

Hi

My daughter has moderate deafness relating to inner ear issues. We've ruled out further grommet operations and have an audiology appointment this week. My daughter is so desperate for her aids as she's had moderate deafness for over a year since her grommets came out.

Can any one explain what will happen at the appointment please? Assuming they take moulds, how long till she gets her hearing aids? Same day? Following week?

Thank you

The ear pieces take about 4 days to make and add a day or so to post them. If we go to hospital got new moulds, they usually arrive the next week, about 6 days after they're taken. When we got Alfie's first ones, the appointment was a week later. X
