Communication Begins at Home

'Communication Begins at Home' is a DVD for families of deaf children who are three years old or younger. 

The film follows six children and their families on a typical day to see how they communicate. It aims to show how communication can be supported during everyday activities and routines.

You’ll meet some young but enthusiastic communicators, confident enough to make their feelings known and to take their turn in leading the conversation. You’ll also meet their families, including their brothers and sisters, who share their thoughts and feelings about growing up with deafness in the familiy.

The DVD can be played with BSL or subtitles and is also available in Urdu, Bengali and Punjabi.
