  • Want to find out more about how you can support brothers and sisters of deaf children?
  • Are you interesed in setting up a group for brothers and sisters of deaf children and young people in your area?

Training day

We have an exciting opportunity for both parents and professionals to attend a free day of training, idea-sharing and fun. 

By  the end of the day, professionals and family members attending will have:

  • developed an understanding of the NDCS All Together Project and the recent research with siblings of deaf children
  • discussed sibling needs and issues
  • identified the key parts to setting up a sibling group
  • identified and participated in activities which can be used in engaging participation of siblings within both a home and group environment.

 

Dates and locations

The final two remaining sibling training days will be taking place in:

  • Cambridge, 25th January 2010
  • Oxford, 26th March 2010
