HPI domestic room loop
This loop system consists of a box with an amplifier and a loop of cable that is placed around the room.
The amplifier picks up the sound from the television and converts it to a special signal via the loop. If your child is within the looped area and they switch their hearing aid(s) to the 'T' position, their aids will convert the signal back into sound.
Your child will be able to adjust the sound without it affecting the television volume for the rest of the family. The loop system may be borrowed for two months.

Inductive silhouette earhooks connect to your portable music device and work with your hearing aid or BTE cochlear implant processor when switched to the 'T' setting.
Inductive silhouette earhooks are available for use with one or two hearing aids. The lead has a 3.5mm jack at one end to connect to your portable music device and either one or two thin plastic hooks at the other end. The hooks are placed over the ear next to the hearing aid. The hearing aids pick up the sound directly from the earhookswhen you switch your hearing aids to the 'T' setting.
If you have two hearing aids then you can receive a stereo signal.
There are three versions of this lead available: A mono lead for use with one hearing aid; a stereo lead for use with two hearing aids; and a 50/50 lead. The 50/50 lead has one earhook for use with a hearing aid and one standard earphone. This lead is ideal for people who have single-sided deafness.

Personal stereo to hearing aid lead
Personal stereo input leads enable you to connect your hearing aids to your portable music device.
A personal stereo direct input lead looks similar to in-the-ear headphones but instead of having earphones it has two special connectors called 'Europlugs'. The Europlugs connect to a 'direct audio input shoe', which in turn connect to the hearing aids.
The personal stereo direct input lead may be borrowed for one month.
