MicroMLxS recievers

The Phonak MicroMLxS is a behind the ear multichannel receiver. It is smaller than the MLxS and has improved reception.
It can be connected to most BTE hearing aids using the appropriate direct audio input shoe. It can also be connected to many cochlear implant processors.
It has a three-position switch: Off, FM only and FM+ hearing aid microphone.
The FM only position mutes the hearing aid microphone by approximately 20dB. The FM only setting does not work on all hearing aids.
The receiver will switch to a sleep mode when there has been no FM reception for 40 seconds. This is designed to reduce battery consumption.
The receiver can be programmed with the users choice of default frequency (channel). The receiver will always switch on to the default frequency. The receiver frequency can be temporarily changed using one of the current Phonak transmitters. Other compatible transmitters may be used but will not be able to change the default frequency. The default frequency and the output level can be changed by a professional with access to a programming device.
