This is a simple-to-use, body-worn radio aid. The transmitter can be worn around the neck using the built in microphone or it can be worn on a waist belt or hip pouch and used with a clip on lapel microphone, ear worn or headband microphone.

A conference microphone is also available. The receiver can be worn on a waist belt, hip pouch or bum bag. A body harness is available for younger children. The receiver can be connected to hearing aids using direct input leads or a neck loop. Special leads are available for connecting to cochlear implant processors.

The transmitter has a fixed frequency, which can be chosen from 35 available. The receiver has one fixed frequency and the option of a second frequency via a plug in module.

Connevans FM genie

This body worn radio aid is available in black or white. The transmitter can be worn around the neck using the built in microphone or it can be worn on a waist belt or hip pouch and used with a clip on lapel microphone, ear worn or headband microphone. A conference microphone is also available.

The receiver can be worn on a waist belt, hip pouch or bum bag. A body harness is available for younger children. The receiver can be connected to hearing aids using direct input leads, a neck loop or a special digital neck loop system called WDI (Wireless direct input) .

Special leads are available for connecting to cochlear implant processors. The transmitter and receiver frequencies can be switched between the 35 available. The receiver has a dual channel facility that allows the user to quickly switch between two transmitter channels.

Both units have a LCD status display as well as many other optional features.

Sennheiser 2015

This is a body worn radio aid of robust construction with a range of features. The transmitter and receiver can be worn using a neck strap, chest strap or clipped to clothing.

The transmitter can be used with a clip on lapel microphone, neck worn microphone or with a screw in microphone if wearing the transmitter around the neck.

The receiver can be connected to hearing aids using direct input leads or a neck loop. Special leads are available for connecting to cochlear implant processors. The transmitter and receiver frequencies can be switched between the 16 available.

Both units have a LCD status display, which show the battery status, selected channel, fm reception level (receiver only), microphone and line input level (transmitter only). This system uses a different frequency range to the other radio aid systems currently available.
