R1 receiver

The Oticon Amigo R1 and R2 multichannel behind the ear receivers can be connected to most BTE hearing aids using the appropriate direct audio input shoe. They can also be connected to many cochlear implant processors.
The R1 and R2 are almost identical but the R2 has a manual and automatic channel seek facility. There is a three-position switch: Off, FM only and FM+ hearing aid microphone.
The FM only position mutes the hearing aid microphone by approximately 20dB. The FM only setting does not work on all hearing aids.
The receivers have a red LED indicator to confirm that the receiver is on and that the transmitter and receiver are working together. The LED can be switched off for older users.
The receiver output level and the default channel can be adjusted using the T20, T21 transmitters or with the Amigo wireless receiver programmer (WRP). Other compatible transmitters may be used but only Amigo products can programme the receivers.
