When taking part in the Who am I? family weekends and young people's events, young deaf people and their parents will be involved in developing some great new resources.

The Who am I? project will produce:

• a booklet for parents featuring tips from parents and young deaf people
• a book ‘Who am I?’ written by young deaf people for young deaf people
• a DVD for deaf young people and their families: NDCS is making a DVD featuring deaf young people and their families telling their own stories, the challenges they have faced and how they have overcome them. The DVD will show people that being deaf is not an obstacle to having a great life and positive future. We hope that this DVD will give real encouragement to deaf young people and their families going through similar experiences.
