Your rights
It's really important that you know what your rights are. You need to know about what you can and can't do, and what help is out there if you have questions about your rights. You need to know who makes sure your rights are protected.
You can find out more about your rights as a young person on the Need2Know website. You can find information on job law, housing, equal opportunities, crime and justice, disability and citizenship.

If you have something to say about young peoples' rights, contact the UK Youth Parliament to find out how you can get involved.
If you feel you have been discriminated against because of your deafness, contact the Disability Rights Commision (DRC). To become the Commission for Equality and Human Rights later in 2007.
