Good Group Guide

This section offers lots of information and ideas to help and inspire you in your role as a committee member of a local group. 

This section contains information and resources to support committee members in the running of a local group and/or charity. It includes your affiliation agreement with NDCS, a template constitution, guides for committee members, our child protection policy and links to useful organisations. 

One of the greatest challenges of running a group is in motivating people to get involved, finding new and creative ways to support families, and solving problems within the committee. The clips in this section share some of the many good ideas that exist in groups around the UK. 

Use this area to tell NDCS about your events and stories so we can advertise them through our website, newsletter and magazine. In addition, you can access and order promotional materials for your group.

NDCS has produced guidelines and systems to help you ensure the safety of your group members, and reduce the risk of liability for your committee members. It is important that all committee members read the information in this section carefully.
