Education Project

NDCS has recently set up an education project to support young deaf people aged 15-25 years old who are considering their options in Further and Higher education and/or employment.

The project provides young deaf people with information, support and advice on a wide variety of issues signposting them where they can get further support as well as giving them the confidence to make their own choices and preparing them better for when they leave school. 

It will also highlight opportunities in vocational and enterprise education, encouraging young deaf people to consider work experience and employment training that will lead to better opportunities for  young deaf people in Scotland.
