Your Child, Your Choices project

Your Child, Your Choices is an exciting Early Years project for families like yours. It offers support and guidance on bringing up a deaf child that you might find useful.

Because the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child’s ability to achieve, we’re delivering free courses and events for you and your family:

Family Sign Language Curriculum

Your Child, Your Choices is delighted to be able to offer a Family Sign Language Summer School for families with a deaf child aged 3-8 years. Parents, deaf children aged 3-8 years and hearing siblings aged 3+ can all participate in sessions, which show families how to communicate every day at home.

New College Lanarkshire, Town Centre, Cumbernauld

10am – 12.30pm

Saturday 20 June, Tuesday 7 July, 14 July, 21 July, and 28 July

Please note that you must be able to attend the first session on the 20th of June to participate in further sessions. As children are involved in sessions there are no creche facilities provided on this occasion.
