Olympic-themed fundraising ideas

Want to fundraise for deaf children but don’t know where to start? Make the most of a summer of sport with our Olympic-themed ideas. Whether you’re looking for a quick and easy fundraiser or an epic sporting challenge, we have something for you.

Make a splash with a swimming challenge

Our Ready Steady Swim event is open to people of all ages and abilities. Simply challenge yourself to a swim at your local pool, and ask family, friends and colleagues to sponsor you. It could be anything from 50m to the length of the English Channel – the choice is yours!

Throw an Olympics party

Treat friends to a night of fantastic sport and Brazilian food, drink and fun. Just ask everyone to give a small donation to come along.

Need some inspiration? Why not:

•    play Samba music
•    make rice and beans and mini chorizo bites
•    serve coconut water and caipirinha cocktails
•    decorate your home with Brazilian flags.

Office Olympics

Go for glory in your Office Olympics 2016.

The Office Olympics is made up of four rounds, split into two disciplines: Track and Field.

All you have to do is:

Get 8 of your colleagues each donating £5

  • split up into two teams of four
  • choose which of the disciplines you want to take part in
  • Most importantly, have fun and help raise vital funds for deaf children

Good luck! Let the competitions begin*

(*victory champagne not included!)

We will be launching the event on the 5 August so email corporate.fundraising@ndcs.org.uk to receive your free fundraising pack which includes certificates for your closing ceremony.

Please make sure you ask your boss for permission and play safe around the office.
