How to leave a gift in your Will
If you make the generous decision to support NDCS with a gift in your Will you need to take a few simple steps to ensure that the gift can eventually be received.
First of all speak to a qualified solicitor; if you are writing your Will for the first time then you will need to make your solicitor aware of your plan to leave NDCS a gift.
We can provide your solicitor with some Gifts in Wills Suggested wording for leaving NDCS a gift in your will which is available to download.
If you already have a will drawn up then the process of amending it to include a gift to the NDCS is a straightforward one, you just need to make a simple addition or amendment to the document.
To do this you just need to provide your solicitor with a completed Codicil Form which is also available to download.
Finally, if you would like to let us know that you have chosen to leave us a gift in your Will we would love to hear from you.
Our Confidential Pledge 2015 allows you to share with us the details of your gift, alternatively you can contact the gifts in Will team directly. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0207 014 1102.
At NDCS we appreciate that leaving a gift in your Will is a personal decision and we promise to respect your privacy and your choices. So if you would like to leave a gift but would rather not hear from us, then you just have to let us know.
