Dress up loud

It is often said that deafness is the invisible disability. If your school dresses up in outrageously loud clothes for the day there will be very little chance of being invisible and you can raise funds for NDCS at the same time.

This easy fundraising activity requires minimum preparation and can be arranged with just one week’s notice.

The idea is for the children (and staff) to make a donation to ditch the uniform for the day and come in dressed in wild, bright colours and crazy patterned clothes. We would suggest a minimum donation of £1. For extra motivation you could offer a prize for the most outrageously loud outfit in each class.

This activity could easily be combined with most of our other fundraising activities or done on its own.

Fundraising tip: Why not hold a fashion show in assembly with the best-dressed staff and children taking part?
