Read my lips
Lip-reading is a technique of understanding speech by carefully watching movements of the face, lips and tongue with information provided by the context, language and any residual hearing.
Some people use lip-reading to help them understand what someone is saying. It is often used with other forms of communication.
Fundraising tip: Older children can be sponsored to correctly lip-read a range of words. Please note that children under the age of five-years-old may find this activity challenging.
