What is a Fingerspellathon?

Fingerspellathon is a sponsored spelling event for schools in aid of NDCS. Not only is it a fantastic interactive lesson for pupils, it is also a creative fundraising event.

  • Fingerspellathon is a great way for your pupils to interact with one another and learn a useful new skill – BSL (British Sign Language).
  • To raise funds for NDCS. Just £100 will allow a deaf child to borrow and test radio aids and other equipment and assess them in the comfort of their own home.
  • Fingerspellathon educates pupils about childhood deafness and can help them understand some of the challenges deaf children face.
