The NDCS Listening Bus was launched in 1996 and since that time, has travelled the length and breadth of the UK, delivering the NDCS’s unique technology service to the doorstep of the nation’s deaf children, deaf adults, families, friends and professionals.

This purpose built vehicle features examples of all the latest equipment designed to assist in communication and learning and visitors can try all the equipment for themselves.

The Schools Officer will happily visit your school and talk to the children about the work of NDCS and some of the challenges that deaf children and young people can face.

This can either be as an assembly or a class visit. If you are working on a specific area of the curriculum and would like a visit based around this please contact us to discuss whether this can be arranged.

If your school would like a visit, please contact the Schools Officer by emailing alison.burrell@ndcs.org.uk or calling 020 7014 1138.
