How to complain about subtitles
Many parents have told us of their frustration in finding that a TV programme does not have subtitles or where the subtitles are of poor quality. NDCS is campaigning to improve the quantity and quality of subtitles on TV. We encourage our members to get involved too – by complaining directly to the broadcasters.
We list below the email addresses for the main broadcasters. If you have problems with any programmes on these broadcaster’s channels, it can help to be as specific as possible. So make a note of:
- What channel it was on;
- What time it was on;
- The name of the programme; and
- The nature of the problem, with specific examples, if possible.
Please contact us to let us know how you get on!
