Job vacancy: The Ear Foundation

The Ear Foundation - a charity providing support for children across the UK with cochlear implants and hearing aids - is seeking a new Chief Executive.

The Ear Foundation was first established in Nottingham in 1989 to bring the new technique of cochlear implantation to the UK, offering useful hearing to profoundly deaf children.

The Ear Foundation is a unique charity providing support for children across the UK with cochlear implants and hearing aids - through information, community education, resources and research and development.

It is a growing charity with a turnover of some £600k pa, and they are seeking a new Chief Executive at an exciting time in the organisation’s history.

Their Trustees are currently considering a major expansion of the Foundation, which is likely to involve new premises in Nottingham. You would have an immediate voice in the decision-making process of their plans and, if they go ahead, it would be your job to bring them to fruition.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong strategic leadership skills and a proven track record of generating income.
