4th Annual Conference: Creating a World Class School for the Deaf - International Developments in Design for Schools for the Deaf
As Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children’s looks forward to moving into state-of-the-art new facilities as part of the King’s Cross Development in North London, the school’s 4th annual conference will focus on what is required to design and build a world class school for the deaf.
At the conference on 21 March 2012 in London, key speakers include:
Janice MacNeill, Headteacher of Donaldson’s School in Scotland which recently moved into brand new school buildings
Deborah McKay the architect for Donaldson’s School
David Morley the architect on the Frank Barnes @ King’s Cross Development
Pupils from Donaldson’s will also present their views on what makes a well designed school based on their personal experience.
Parents, education, health and care professionals are all encouraged to attend the conference to share their views and input on what would make a world class design for a world class school for deaf children.
