Bilingual sign seminars available to teachers of deaf children

The Sign Bilingual Consortium is hosting a series of seminar days for
teachers of deaf children and professionals within the field of sign
bilingual education.
The aim of the seminars is to share and develop good practice in the teaching and learning of sign bilingual deaf children.
The seminars will be held at Frank Barnes School, Harley road, London NW3 3BN in the following dates.
Tuesday ,21st October 2008 9.30am to 4.00pm
Theme: Literacy in a sign bilingual context: developing practice
March 2009 9.30am to 4.00pm (exact date to be confirmed)
Theme: Curriculum Development in Sign Bilingual Schools and Services
Wednesday, 10th June 2009 9.30 to 4.00 pm
Theme: Cognition and Learning styles: developing practice
Cost for a seminar day:
- £60.00 (non-member of the Sign Bilingual Consortium)
- £40.00 (members of the Sign Bilingual Consortium)
