Every School a Good School: A strategy for raising the achievement in literacy and numeracy in Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland consistently performs to
the UK’s
highest levels at GCSE level. However, there is significant gap in the
achievement of students who require additional educational support, including
deaf children.
This year, Caitriona Ruane, the Education Minister, has launched Every School a Good School: A strategy for raising the achievement in literacy and numeracy.
The aim of this document is to address the attainment gap and provide teaching methods to improve literacy and numeracy in our schools.
