The NDCS, Derby County in the Community and Derby Deaf FC are working together to create an exciting new opportunity for deaf children to play football in Derby!

Derby Deaf Football Festival

Want to improve your football skills and make new friends? The NDCS Deaf Friendly Football Club project, in partnership with Derby County FC and Derby Deaf FC, are holding an exciting football festival for deaf children and young people at the Powerleague Derby Soccerdome!

Children will take part in coaching activities and mini-games organised by fully qualified Derby County in the Community coaches with full communication support provided by NDCS volunteers.

The day is suitable for players of all abilities, boys and girls. Young people will be grouped according to age and ability.

When the festival has taken place, Derby County will be running regular coaching sessions for deaf players.

We will announce the coaching session details on the day of the festival but if you cannot make it then watch this space for more information.
