Leeds United & Leeds Deaf FC
The NDCS, Leeds United Football in the Community, Leeds Deaf FC and Leeds City Council are working together to create an exciting new opportunity for deaf children to play football in Leeds!
Leeds Deaf Friendly Football Festival
Saturday 15 September 2007 at the John Charles Centre for Sport in Leeds.
Over 20 children attended the first North of England deaf football festival on a sunny September Saturday.
The children all got to take part in coaching sessions and mini games organised by the excellent Leeds United Football in the Community coaches. Support came from NDCS volunteers and Leeds Deaf FC players.
At the end of the day, all the players received goodies kindly donated by one of our key project sponsors, Phonak UK!
Thank you for all the players, parents, coaches and volunteers who took part for helping make the festival such a fantastic day!
