The first ever deaf friendly football festival took place at Carrow Park, Norwich on Saturday 5 May 2007.

Jeremy Goss, a former Norwich City player and now their Sporting Ambassador, officially opened the event that took place in the shadow of Norwich City's Carrow Road ground.

The festival was a fantastic day for everyone involved. 29 deaf children took part in coaching sessions and games organised by Norwich Football in the Community coaches with support from Active Norfolk, NDCS volunteers and deaf coaches.

The children and parents also had the treat of a guided tour around the ground!

At the end of the day, all the children were given certificates and goodies to take home. Thank you for everyone who took part for making the day such a great success!
