Our supporters

We have many supporters of the project, from professional players, clubs, coaches and other organisations.

The major two supporters of the Deaf Friendly Football Club Project are the Football Foundation and The FA.

Football Foundation

The Football Foundation is dedicated to revitalising the grass roots of the game, constructing modern football facilities, developing football as a force for social cohesion and as a vehicle for education in communities throughout the country.

Funded by the Premier League, The Football Association, Sport England and the Government, the Football Foundation is the nation’s largest sports charity with a £45m budget going straight into the heart of football.

Since its launch in July 2000, the Football Foundation has funded over 3,500 projects worth over £490m.

The FA

The FA is the National Governing Body for Football in England, The FA supports football at all levels from grassroots to the the England national team.

The FA also invests and develops disability football across the country. Including national disability teams participating in major European and World Championships.

The FA works closely with the NDCS to support and develop the player pathway for young deaf footballers.
