About the event
NDCS Scotland is holding a family weekend in the Edinurgh/East Scotland area in the month of July. (Venue and dates to be confirmed).
This weekend is especially for families with deaf children who have been newly identified within the last 12 to 18 months.
The topics covered will include:
- sharing experiences
- understanding audiology
- communication in the family
- information on benefits and support
- a deaf child in the family - deaf role models experiences
We even take all your little ones off your hands during the day. They will be cared for by registered childcare staff and take part in a range of activities.
