About the event

This course will be delivered by The Ear Foundation in partnership with NDCS.

It is designed for parents of deaf children to learn more about phonics. Phonics is recognised as a key tool in the acquisition of literacy skills for all children. The day will explore how phonics can be used to support deaf children's developing literacy skills. It will provide practical ideas as well as explore the issues phonics teaching raises for deaf children.
