Join Team NDCS in the world renowned Virgin Money London Marathon 2021

Do something amazing by taking part in one of the UK’s most iconic running events. Run with 40,000 people taking on this once-in-a-lifetime challenge and enjoy the electric atmosphere as you pass the sights of the capital.

Apply now for one of our charity places. We choose our runners based on the strength of their application. Please give as much detail as possible about how you plan to raise your target amount and why you want to support us. We aim to be in touch within one month to let you know if your application is successful.

Charity places still available for the 2020 London Marathon!

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 London Marathon will now take place on Sunday 4 October. This means there will be an opportunity for a small number of charity places to become available before October.

The 2.6 Challenge

In addition to the postponed event, we’re inviting our supporters to take part in The 2.6 Challenge from Sunday 26 April. The organisers of the biggest mass-participation sports events across the country came together to create a new campaign to raise vital funds to help to save the UK’s charities.

The 2.6 Challenge launched on Sunday 26 April – what should have been the date of the 40th London Marathon, the world’s biggest one-day annual fundraising event. We want supporters to take part in an activity of their choice based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 and fundraise or donate to support the National Deaf Children’s Society.
