Trekking

Join #TeamNDCS and raise money for deaf children. Hike for us in some of the world’s most breath-taking and iconic locations. Or stay closer to home and enjoy the best our beautiful country has to offer.

Join us for one of our featured treks:

Kilimanjaro Summit Climb - Lemosho Route

12 days | Tanzania | Wed 17 Mar - Sun 28 Mar 2021

This Kilimanjaro trek begins in the lush rainforests of the Lemosho Glades. You'll climb towards the Shira Plateau, and then follow the Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route. Our groups have excellent summit success rates (96%), yet Kilimanjaro – with its 1,000m ascent and 2,000m descent – must not be underestimated.

Great Wall Discovery

9 days | China | Sat 27 Mar - Sun 04 Apr 2021

Appropriately named one of the ‘New Wonders of the World’, the Great Wall of China is a thrilling challenge of ups, downs, twists and turns. With 10,000 deliberately uneven steps, this trip will challenge even the most dedicated trekker. Your exhaustion will quickly vanish, however, as you are rewarded with sweeping views over the vast mountain ranges.

National Three Peaks Challenge

3 days | UK | Fri 18 Sep - Sun 20 Sep 2020

Brace yourself for a fast-paced and physically challenging adventure, as you take on the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales. Considered one of Britain’s toughest outdoor challenges, the National Three Peaks Challenge takes in the dizzy heights of Ben Nevis (1,344m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) - and your challenge is to do all this in 24 hours!

Once you have registered for you trek, we’ll be in touch to send you your fundraising pack with ideas and advice on how reach your fundraising target. We look forward to welcoming you to #TeamNDCS.

If the above options aren’t for you, there will no doubt be an adventure to suit you with one of our selected tour operators. See what they have to offer:

Once you’ve found the trek you want to take part in, simply register with the tour operator and state that you are fundraising for the National Deaf Children’s Society. They’ll then contact us to confirm your booking and fundraising target.
