Deaf and under 18?

Photo: Deaf young people can volunteer giving presentations

Volunteering can be a fantastic opportunity to share your story and make a real difference to the families we support. It also looks great on your CV.

If you are deaf and under 18, you can now volunteer with us! We are looking for 16 and 17 year olds to:

  • speak to families of deaf children and young people about your personal experiences of deafness, including your family life, initial diagnosis, communication, education, interests and hobbies, career and challenges
  • support our Roadshow team at events

For more information, read our Frequently Asked Questions.

Please note that you will need parent or guardian permission to volunteer with us.
