Radio aids - Comfort Audio, Connevans and Oticon

Here we give you information on models of radio aid transmitters and receivers manufactured by Comfort Audio, Connevans and Oticon. You can borrow them from our loan service, and they are either available for purchase or might be provided by your local authority or school.

Comfort Audio

The Comfort Audio Digisystem uses digital technology rather than FM technology. The advantages of the Digisystem are that it is easier to manage multiple systems, for example with team teaching or group work, and it reduces the risk of interference.

Connevans

The Connevans FM Genie system uses FM technology. Families tell us that the sound quality is good and they are easy to use.

Oticon

Oticon Amigo radio aids use FM technology and are mainly designed for use in education, although they can be used at home or for social activities.
