Online illustration workshops for deaf children and young people

Bring stories to life with the help of a professional illustrator!

This autumn we’re inviting deaf children and young people to join our free, online illustration workshops.

These workshops will be hosted by Lucy Rogers, a professional illustrator who is also deaf. Lucy illustrated our latest book The Quest for the Cockle Implant – available to order very soon.

Together with Lucy, we’ll learn how to illustrate a story. Lucy will lead fun drawing activities and share some top tips that help bring stories to life!

Who can take part and when?

Our final workshop of the series is open to deaf children and young people of any creative ability, aged between 15 and 18 years old.

  • Ages 15-18Saturday 28 November, 2pm - 3.30pm - limited places still available

The workshops will take place on Zoom. Once a child's place is confirmed, we’ll send out all the information they need to join.
