The Saturday social online event

Get ready to make some new friends!

Deaf children and young people are invited to join us for our brand new online social event, where they can meet new friends, play games, chat and have fun. 

Who can take part and when?

This event is now fully booked. Why not take a look at some of our other online events for children?

Deaf children aged 8–14 years

11am-12:30pm on Saturday 20 March 2021

To join the event, children will need access to a computer, smartphone or tablet, and an internet connection.

Where

The event will take place on Zoom. Once your child's place is confirmed, we’ll send out all the information they need to join.

More information - what we’ll get up to

  • 11am Log onto Zoom and join the online waiting room.

  • 11.15am Welcome and introductions.

  • 11.30am Take part in activities, games and chatter.

  • 12.30pm Before we say goodbye, don't forget to tell us what you thought of the event!

Meet our event hosts

Amy New, Young Enablement Officer

Amy has been working with young people for over ten years. You might have seen her before at one of our creative writing or illustration events. She can’t wait to join you at the exciting new events we have coming up!

Sally McNamara, Enablement Officer

Sally has been organising events for deaf children and young people for over 14 years. You may have seen her before at one of our outdoor residential events. She’s very excited to be hosting our online events for deaf young people!
