New to online events

Join us for an introduction to our online events.

In these workshops, Helen and Carla lead you through joining one of our online events for the first time.
Get a feel for how our online events work and what you can expect from them. Practice using Zoom. Choose to join in with, or without, your camera and microphone turned on. Ask as many questions as you like or simply listen. It's up to you.
At half an hour long, the workshops are a great opportunity to get online and try things out. By the end, we hope you'll feel confident using Zoom and ready to join in with families at our other online events.

There are two sessions currently available to book:

Thursday 22 April, 1pm - 1.30pm

Thursday 17 June, 1pm - 1.30pm

How to join

To join us, you’ll need a laptop, tablet or phone, and an internet connection or data available.

When you sign up, we'll send you all the information you need to join us. You don't need to have been to an online event before.

Communication support

Closed captioning will be provided.

We also offer BSL and language interpreters, on request. If you would like this support, or have any questions before taking part in a workshop, please email [email protected].

Meet your lovely hosts

Carla and Helen from our Family Programmes team will be on hand to guide you and answer any of your questions.
