Parents as Partners: get involved with your local deaf children’s services

Photo: Find out how to become involved at a local level

Find out how to become part of your local Children’s Hearing Services Group (CHSWG) and improve services for deaf children.

You can also find other local forums to have your say. We show you how to do this and why it’s important.

What to expect

At our Parents as Partners workshop we show you how to get involved at a local level and make sure all deaf children are getting the support they need. We encourage family involvement every step of the way.

As a parent or carer you:

  • Find out more about the role of a parent representative.
  • Learn the skills to improve services for deaf children in your area.
  • Meet other parents and share experiences.
  • Feel more confident about the difference you can really make.

So whether you are already involved or not, this is an ideal workshop to sign up to, and find out more.

  • Saturday 25 June
  • 10am to 11.30am

How to join
