Assessing the educational progress of deaf children and young people

Photo: Training courses for working with deaf children

Are you a Teacher of the Deaf or other professional working with deaf children to improve their educational outcomes? Do you want better ways of assessing and monitoring the progress of deaf children?

Effective assessments and monitoring are vital to the way you support deaf children to achieve their true potential. Our one-day workshop with practical activities will take you through the purpose and key principles of good assessments. You’ll learn how to use our assessment resource. It includes information on specialist assessments in literacy, numeracy, cognitive development and social/emotional development as well as communication, language and literacy.

You’ll have a thorough grounding in the specialist assessments available to help you improve educational outcomes for the deaf children you work with.

What do delegates say?
