This online training is made up of three modules, which include:
- An introductory e-learning module
- A pre-recorded online presentation
- A live webinar.
The live webinar will include 1 hour workshop and an optional 30 minute Q&A. Prior to this live webinar, you will need to have completed the other 2 mandatory modules, which will be available on demand:

Raising a deaf child can be challenging with many families needing guidance to help understand the impact deafness can have.
This online training uses evidence-based strategies that deliver positive impact for families and deaf children.
It will give you a wealth of ideas and strategies to improve the way you support parents and carers, whilst providing you with the opportunity to practise new approaches. It is designed to teach you how to use our resource with parents and carers you support.
You will finish this online training feeling inspired and confident to deliver our programme to the families you work with. We will provide you with all the plans, resources and evaluation tools you need. Enabling you to deliver and measure the impact of the programme.

Those who sign up to this Raising a Deaf Child facilitator training online pre-launch, will do so at a highly discounted fee (£25) and will be required to provide us detailed feedback about what they thought of the programme.

Is the Raising a deaf child online facilitator training CPD accredited?
Yes, this online training is CPD accredited. Delegates who complete this training will receive a certificate of attendance.
Can we have the resources without attending the training?
As part of our quality assurance – the Raising a Deaf Child Facilitator Training resources are only available for those who have attended the training.
Can I join using any device?
To be able to fully participate in activities during the workshops, we would recommend using a desktop or laptop. Other devices may not allow all functionality.
Do I need to do any prep before attending the live webinar?
Yes, you will need to complete the following mandatory modules prior to attending the live webinar. These will be available on demand for you to complete and will take roughly 1 hour to complete, each.
• Introductory e-learning module
• Pre-recorded online presentation
You will be expected to complete all three sessions to complete the training.
We also ask that you complete a survey before attending.
Details of all of these will be sent to you in the pre-event information email, prior to the live event.
What if I need to cancel?
If you are unable to attend and need to cancel your place, please contact us at [email protected] Refunds will be available as below.
If you cancel:
- 7 working days or less before the planned date, you will be charged 100% of the total cost
- 8-14 working days before the planned date, you will be charged 50% of the total cost
- 15 working days before the planned date, you will not be charged.
Please note, if you cancel your place you will be cancelling all 3 modules. Cancellations and refunds are not available for individual modules.
