Speech to text apps to understand conversations webinar
Are you a teacher, youth leader, or other professional working with deaf children and young people? Do you want to find out how apps can help deaf young people feel more confident in face to face conversations?
Our on demand webinar provides tips on how you can use speech-to-text apps to facilitate face-to-face conversations with deaf children and young people.
This is an on demand webinar, giving you the opportunity to hear from technology staff at the National Deaf Children’s Society about how speech to text apps can facilitate conversations where lip reading is difficult.
You will leave with knowledge of how you can use these in face-to-face conversations with deaf children and young people (e.g. audiology consultation) and with the confidence to recommend these for personal use when going to public places.
Our Technology Research Officer, Kim Hagen, will be speaking about the apps that we have research and tested.
