Is there a local group for Secondary school children between the age of 11 and 12 years in Southend on Sea? I would like my son to connect with other deaf children in the surrounding area of his age. Thanks!!!!

Hi

Thanks for starting this thread. It's great you're looking for opportunitis for your son to connect with other deaf children in your area. I'm sorry you've not had any comments yet - Your Community is still very new and new members are joining each week.

The Essex Dearf Children's Society is the nearest local group to you that's affiliated with us. They have a Facebook page where you can connect with their members and contact them directly.

With current restrictions on opportunities to meet face to face your son may also want to keep an eye out for our upcoming online events and activities for young people around the UK.

If you need any further support please feel free to contact our Helpline  team.

Best wishes

Cat
