Where we work
We support deaf children, their families and everyone who cares about them, throughout the UK and internationally through Deaf Child Worldwide.

Our work in the UK
We support families throughout the UK through core services like our website, app and free Helpline, which provide information and advice tailored to where you live.
Our advice and guidance officers are based throughout the UK and help families get the best from services in their area.
We also have a team of community connectors – parents of deaf children who drive change in their area. They connect with local families and work alongside services to create tailored solutions to local issues.
Our network of local support groups bring families together for friendship, support and fun. These groups are run by volunteers, usually parents and carers, and are affiliated to the National Deaf Children’s Society.
We also campaign on issues impacting deaf children in different parts of the UK.
Our international work
Our international focus is on working with low- and middle-income countries to set up sustainable newborn hearing screening and early intervention programmes.
We’re working with national governments, global organisations and local communities to make this a reality.
