There are a wide variety of choices for post-16 education. In some cases, you might be able to study for more than one kind of qualification at once.
Further education
Many deaf young people will move on to further education at 16 to keep studying subjects taken at school or to take a vocational course.
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships can be a great opportunity for deaf young people to gain structured work experience alongside studying for a qualification.
Higher education (HE)
Higher education is an opportunity for deaf young people to study a subject they enjoy beyond A levels.
