Fundraising in your school

Raise funds to help us make a real difference to the lives of deaf children and young people, while learning new skills and having fun in your school. We’ve got fundraising ideas and support for you.

Download our schools guide to get free resources to help make your school more deaf-friendly. You’ll also find lots of ideas to raise valuable funds to support deaf children.

Get started with some of our ideas below or get in touch with us on [email protected] for more information.

Fundraising ideas

Fingerspellathon

Fingerspellathon is a great way for children to interact with each other and learn British Sign Language. It teaches children about some of the challenges deaf children face. Sign up today!

Dress up loud

Deafness can be an invisible disability. Help us to raise deaf awareness in your school by dressing up in loud and bright clothes for the day. Everyone who dresses up loud can pay £1 to take part. Why not hold a fashion show or competition for the most outrageous outfit?

Big Cake Bake

Sign up to hold a Big Cake Bake and you’ll receive a free fundraising pack full of goodies. Your cake sale can be as big or small as you like, and maybe even a part of a food technology class. Everyone loves cake, so you’ll be raising money in no time!

Charity of the Year

Does your school pick a charity to support each year? Get in touch to find out how you can nominate us as your next Charity of the Year.
