Online information and advice sessions

Join our free online sessions designed for families of deaf children. Led by friendly experts, these sessions are a great opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and connect with other parents and carers.

We cover a wide range of topics relevant to all types and levels of deafness – from communication and education to everyday family life. No prior knowledge is needed, and you're welcome to take part as much or as little as you like.

Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your place.

Managing Feelings

  • Wednesday 11 June
  • 7pm to 8 pm
  • suitable for families with deaf children ages 0 to 8 years

Childhood is the perfect time to build self-esteem, self-confidence and self-reliance. This workshop will explore how parents and children can share, acknowledge and accept feelings together.

You'll learn the importance of recognising and labelling feelings, and practice effective strategies to express what you see and hear.

Joining our online events

We'll have experts on hand to support you in joining the event online. You can also watch our guide to joining online events (YouTube).

You’ll need access to a computer, smartphone or tablet with an internet connection.

Zoom auto-generated captions and British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will be available.
